Chateau Dalat is situated at an elevation of 1,600 meters above sea level, where the cool climate ranges from 18-20°C year-round—ideal conditions for high-quality winemaking. Drawing on traditional French winemaking techniques brought to Vietnam in the 19th century, Ladofoods has combined these methods with innovative practices to create wines that meet international standards. Notably, Ladofoods is the only winery in Vietnam that has invested in the raw material region of Ninh Thuan Province, located just 60 km from the winery, utilizing advanced agricultural models and biocide technology for grape cultivation.

The Chateau Dalat Cellar

Our wine cellar, located 10 meters underground, was constructed under the guidance of European experts to replicate the authentic wine cellars found in Europe. The design ensures a stable temperature and humidity level, essential for aging fine wines. Currently, the cellar houses 60 oak barrels, which play a crucial role in the winemaking process. The oak allows for a controlled infusion of oxygen, softening the tannins and enhancing the wine's flavor profile. This aging process imparts unique notes of smoke, vanilla, chocolate, and leather, resulting in wines with rich colors and captivating aromas.
